Description: JQuery is a lightweight cross-browser JavaScript library that emphasizes interaction between JavaScript and HTML. This session will focus on utilizing jQuery within Sharepoint to extend out of the box functionality, consisting of a discussion on JQuery basics, various examples and implementation methods.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: 

David Rider is a Computer Programs Analyst working with the Florida Department of Transportation. David began his work as a web developer/designer with Florida State University. He has been working with SharePoint since starting with FDOT in 2005. He is currently working as a project lead within a team based environment  that primary focuses on supporting and developing Sharepoint driven applications.
