Topic: Windows Mobile and WCF, Together At Last! (well, sort of.)

Description: The .NET world was all abuzz when WCF was released in November 2006, and rightly so. New vistas opened up, and everything was supposed to be easier because of it. Unfortunately, Windows Mobile was left out in the cold with no realistic support for the new technology.

However, hope appeared towards the end of 2009(!). Now, we can consume WCF Services -- with a few caveats. Come see the "new hotness" and find out what you definitely can't do.

Bio:
Kelvin McDaniel is Chief Applications Architect at Cornerstone Software Services. Based in Tallahassee, Kelvin comes from a diverse set of industries and careers. When asked what made him interested in programming he answered, "It was the one hobby that floated my boat AND people were willing to pay for 'way back when'. After a while I got fairly good at it and stuck with it. Well, that and my Dad's old Tandy Radio Shack Trash 80 that I wasn't allowed to touch."
